Terms and Conditions of Sale

This is a courtesy translation. The French version is the sole legally binding text and governs in the event of any discrepancy.

Version of DATE TO BE ADDED. These terms apply to any order placed on foldisk.com by a consumer within the meaning of the French Consumer Code (code de la consommation).

Products

FOLDISK sells external storage enclosures, sold either complete with a built-in SSD, or as an enclosure with an adapter, without a drive. Product photographs are not contractually binding with regard to the slight variations in shade and finish inherent to small-batch manufacturing.

Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, excluding shipping costs, which are specified before payment is confirmed. FOLDISK reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the price applicable is the one displayed at the time of order.

Order and payment

Orders are placed through a Stripe payment link. Payment is due immediately and in full. The order is final upon receipt of payment confirmation.

Delivery

The indicative preparation time is 3 to 5 business days, plus carrier transit time. Deliveries are made to DELIVERY ZONES TO BE ADDED. If delivery is delayed by more than seven days beyond the announced date, the buyer may cancel the order and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with French law (articles L221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code), you have fourteen days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision.

To exercise it, simply send an unambiguous request to contact@foldisk.com. The product must be returned complete, in a condition suitable for resale, within fourteen days of this request. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. The refund is issued within fourteen days of the product being received back, or of proof of its shipment.

Choosing a storage capacity among those offered in the catalog does not constitute customization within the meaning of the relevant provision of the French Consumer Code. The right of withdrawal therefore applies in full. However, the enclosure-only version loses its resale value if it has been drilled, sanded, or otherwise modified, which may justify a proportional deduction.

Warranties

All products are covered by the French legal warranty of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code), lasting two years from delivery, as well as the legal warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). For products sold without a drive, the warranty covers neither the drive you install nor any damage resulting from its installation.

Complaints and mediation

Any complaint may be sent to contact@foldisk.com. Failing an amicable agreement, the consumer may, free of charge, refer the matter to the consumer mediator named in the legal notice, or to the European online dispute resolution platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. This applies regardless of the country from which an order is placed.
